Ingredients of Katla Macher Bhuna
- 1 kg Katla fish
- 2 onions
- 2 pieces of ginger
- Garlic 8-10 cloves
- Raw chili 10 pice
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 cup coriander leaves
- 2 tablespoons cumin powder
- 2 tablespoons of coriander powder
- 2 tablespoons turmeric
- 2 tablespoons of chili powder
- Salt
- Mustard oil
Process of making Katla Macher Bhuna
First, you have to wash the fish well in a container. Then add 1 teaspoon of ginger paste, 1 teaspoon of garlic paste, 2 teaspoons of coriander powder, 2 teaspoons of cumin powder, turmeric, 2 teaspoons of chili powder, salt as expected, 2 teaspoons of mustard oil, and coriander leaves. Then mix well and leave the fish for 10-15 minutes.
Then put a pan on the gas and add some mustard oil. Then when the oil is hot, arrange the fish one by one on the oil and fry them upside down. Put a pan on the other side of the gas and grate 2 onions with some oil, 5-6 cloves garlic, 1 piece ginger, 2 tomatoes and fry a little with 7-10 green chilies.
Then grind the fried spices well and put the fish on top. Then stir a little, add salt to taste with a little water, and cover with 1 teaspoon of fried cumin powder for 2 minutes. Then take it down, now your Katla Macher Bhuna is ready.
